I learned a valuable lession on Monday …

It is only recently that I have truly come to understand the meaning of the phrase “feel the fear and do it anyway”. Having struggled with worrying and ruminating about most things for most of my life, I feel like I am beginning to control the anxiety and depression demons that have haunted me. Two very special people made me realise that life is NOT ‘all about me’ and how I feel. It is about so much more and whilst joy might be fleeting, the pursuit of happiness is eternal.

Oh dear, apologies for using so many cliches in one post!

It is my goal to give others hope that things will get better so check out the Action for Happiness website and also Daisy’s ACT Summer Fundraiser

I am a veterinary epidemiologist with a mission to bring mindfulness into veterinary practice and research. I would like everyone involved in the veterinary profession to be happy in what they do and to enjoy the vocation that we all work so hard at.
